When something catches my eye, more often than not I whip out my sketchbook and start drawing. Those sketches will then evolve, be tweeked, and built up and made intricate. The entirety of my work follows this pattern, I like to start pieces and run with them, streching outside my bounderies, I don’t like to be bottled into one idea. But seeing as I draw what catches my eye, most of what I draw has to do with my interests, them being music, world cultures, and friends. What I hope my artwork does is to inspire people to follow what helps them express themselves, whatever it may be. I believe it is important in life that everyone shares their ideas and can then grow. Drawing things that interest me clears my head, and everyone should have that kind of outlet to remove your mind from yourself. Another reason I enjoy making art because it is something that is always fresh and growing with new ideas and techniques. Art is not only a way of expression for me, but something that others can marvel at and learn from. Art will continue to inspire as it has for thousands and I hope to continue to develop my style and my own ideas to help others gain their own inspiration as I have.
